Broncolor Edge Mask for Softbox
The inner part of the Edge Mask is a completely dark rectangle where no light is passing and light only shines through the edges creating a frame of light contouring the subject.
To achieve this effect, the Softbox with the Edge Mask is placed exactly behind your subject. The frame of light will illuminate the edge of your subject while the background stays black.
The Edge Mask can be used for stills as well as for portraits.
Available in 4 sizes for Broncolor's most popular softboxes: 35x60cm, 60x100cm, 90x120cm, and 120x180cm
Edge Mask Frame Width:
- 35x60 Edge Mask = 7cm (2.8") wide frame
- 60x100 Edge Mask = 10cm (3.9") wide frame
- 90x120 Edge Mask = 10cm (3.9") wide frame
- 120x180 Edge Mask = 15cm (5.9") wide frame
*As the shape of most sensors is a rectangle the Edge Masks only exist for Broncolor's rectangular Softboxes.
